Q: How do we begin?
A: Just give me a call with your ideas! Thinking of a princess room? Pirates? Faux finishing the powder room? Any ideas are welcome....some clients have specific requests, while others just a general idea in mind! If you have a bedding pattern, I can use that for inspiration and for the color palette! You are welcome to send me digital photos of the space and any images from the web that portray your idea!
Q: What's the next step?
A: Based on the info you give me, I will work up some ideas! We will schedule an in-home consultation so that I can see the space and present my ideas. We will have the opportunity to talk about your ideas and specific requests. We will pick the color palette together and come up with a plan! I will give you an estimate based on your choices!
Q: What do I need to do?
A: When you are ready to schedule the work, I will begin at your convenience! Since you may want to be there, keep in mind that a mural or faux finish takes 1-2 days, and a full wall mural could take 3-4 days. If you want a different color on the walls in the room as a base coat before I paint the murals, please paint the room before-hand. Also, all furniture needs to be in place so that the murals can be centered and work around your furnishings.
Q: What are your fees?
A: Fees vary depending on the type of work necessary. The size, detail, and difficulty of the project help determine the price. I can work within your budget to make a fabulous space! All paint and supplies are included in the price!
Q: How long will it take?
A: Faux painting a room can take 1-2 days depending on size. Murals can take one day or several depending on exactly how much wall space we are going to cover and level of detail in the design of the work.

Ansley's Ballerina Room took 1 day to complete.
Baby David's Pop Monkey Room took 2 days to complete.
Porter's Bug Room took 3 days to complete.
Paige's Horsey Room took 4 days to complete.
I generally will arrive at 9am and work til 6pm, or as your schedule allows. I will not call it quits til I am completely satisfied with my work, so I try not to put too much emphasis on time. Bitter sweet is the day I complete a mural....because I have to say goodbye to my creation!
Q: How permanent are your murals?
A: I use high quality acrylics and Behr latex paints. Your mural should provide years of happiness! I make a point to put any 3D items out of kids' reach. I am available for touchups if needed! When you are ready for a change, a simple sanding of the edges and a coat of primer should do the trick. Glued on items will need a bit of spackle.
